Project Study - Hotel 5*
Between land and sea, between the gentle Mediterranean climate and the richness of the Var region, this study for a 5-star hotel project in Saint-Tropez offers a subtle vision of luxury, rooted in balance and dialogue with the landscape. Conceived as part of a competitive tender, it develops an architectural and landscape concept aimed at revealing the authenticity of an exceptional site.
Set on a plot of approximately 18,900 m², the project envisions a human-scale hotel complex comprising 72 rooms of varied typologies, designed to deliver distinctive experiences. The ensemble is complemented by a restaurant and a wellness area of nearly 705 m², featuring a spa and fitness facilities.

Every architectural gesture is measured, every detail purposeful — designed not to impose, but to reveal.
Natural materials, thoughtful proportions, and the orchestration of light shape an experience that is both tactile and emotional. Drawing from the vernacular heritage of Provence, the project reimagines the language of bastides and old farmhouses with contemporary restraint. Raw stone, aged wood, and mineral plasters in sun-warmed hues lay the foundation of a timeless architecture rooted in its landscape.
This grounding in tradition is offset by a modern architectural expression: pure lines, airy forms, and wide openings that dissolve the boundaries between inside and out. Architecture gives way to landscape, which gently enters the living spaces. The design embraces the terrain, unfolding through low-slung volumes that seem to float above the earth, inviting a soft, instinctive immersion in the Mediterranean environment.
The design approach emphasizes preserving the natural landscape, selecting materials with care, and achieving seamless topographical integration. Volumes, outdoor sequences, and interior atmospheres are conceived to reflect a vision deeply rooted in respect for the site.
